For Students & Families
Services offered to support you and your child
Literacy acquisition is, in many ways, a personal process. While the endpoint may be the same for everyone, an individual’s strengths and weaknesses, developmental path and pace in the learning process can vary.
Mindsets and perceptions about our capacity for literacy learning begin to solidify far before our skills do. This is why it is paramount for your child’s needs to be addressed as well as fully supported so that they can develop a positive view of themselves that propels them as a learner.
It can be very difficult as a parent to watch your child struggle, lack confidence, or not meet their full potential. This may have been heightened by the Covid-19 Pandemic and its impact on your child’s learning. Perhaps you are also faced with trying to understand all of the educational jargon and what it means for your child’s development or you are unsure about what steps you can take to build a stronger bridge between home and school.
